April Navy Honors
"Ask The Chief"
April 1st, marks the 133rd Birthday of the U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer. Since 1893, the Chiefs Mess has been the backbone of our Navy. To our club's "Goats"—thank you for your leadership and for keeping the deckplates running.
We also look ahead to April 11th, celebrating 126 years of the U.S. Submarine Force—the Silent Service that has patrolled the depths since the USS Holland (SS-1) joined the fleet in 1900.

Apr 1: Navy Chief Petty Officer Birthday
Apr 10: 63rd Anniversary of the loss of USS Thresher (SSN-593). We honor the 129 souls lost and the SUBSAFE legacy they left behind.
Apr 11: U.S. Navy Submarine Birthday
